Who is SmartMed.ai designed for?+
SmartMed.ai supports individual practices, clinics, and hospital teams. The right setup depends on your departments, users, devices, and the OPD, IPD, or virtual workflows you need.
Can doctors continue writing with a pen?+
Yes. The Android tablet experience supports stylus-based digital forms for handwritten notes, diagrams, and markings. Confirm device compatibility and required form layouts during onboarding.
How does ambient clinical documentation work?+
After patient consent, the consultation is processed into a structured draft. The clinician reviews and edits it before applying it. The feature supports documentation; it does not replace clinical judgment.
Does the tablet app work offline?+
Selected tablet form and handwriting workflows support local saving and queued synchronisation. AI processing, virtual consultations and other server-dependent operations need an internet connection.
Can we use our existing hospital forms?+
Patient-linked digital forms can preserve familiar hospital layouts. Discuss your forms, specialties and handwriting requirements during setup to confirm the work needed.
How do subscriptions and usage credits work?+
The platform includes subscription management and a credit wallet for configured billable services. Available packages, rates and charges should be confirmed during onboarding.
Does it support patient messages and record sharing?+
SmartMed includes workflows for sharing prescriptions, bills and reports, as well as follow-up communication. Provider-based channels require a configured account and any applicable approvals.
How should we start?+
Start with one workflow and a small team. Review your process, forms, devices and required modules with ITBlanket, then expand after validating the setup in day-to-day use.
